 Earlier this month the delegates of the IHU Southern Region decided to sponsor the combine race from St Malo with a sum of €200. The president Pascal Mulcahy supported the awarding of the prize to the first yearling hen clocked in the Southern Region from St Malo, France in June. Garry Deegan from Blanchardstown was the winner of the €200 sponsorship by the IHU Southern Region for the first yearling hen clocked in the southern region. This hen was raced in the 4 of the 5 ISRF O B channel races and was 32nd combine and 2nd ISRF OPEN with a velocity of 640.912 y/min. This Check hen strain is Soontjen and was in Truro 4th club 108 fed, Penzance 3rd club, 72 open, Penzance 12th club, St Malo open first club second open. She was sitting on 14 day eggs. The stock pair were of Tommy Nelson, East Coast fed which Garry is delighted to have. Pigeoonlink.com wishes all this year's prize winners all the best at the end of the racing season.
